Legendary Weapons for Paladins

Over the years I have played wow I farmed for as many legendary weapons as a paladin can use, I managed quite a few but have one left, Val'Anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings. For now I will show you the legendary weapons a paladin can and all the legendary weapons and mount in the game

Sulfuras, Hammer of Ragnaros

This is the legendary Hammer of Ragnaros! As you can probably guess, the main requirement is a very low drop item from Ragnaros, the last boss summoned in Molten Core raid by killing ALL the previous bosses. First, you must craft this: Sulfuron Hammer using blacksmithing (the recipe can be obtained once Revered with the Thorium brotherhood for a Sulfuron Ingot , which drops from Golemagg the Incenerator). Then you must obtain the Eye of Sulfuras , a legendary item with a low drop from Ragnaros himself. Once you obtain both you must go to the forge in the center of Blackrock Depths dungeon and combine the two to create the legendary Sulfuras, Hammer of Ragnaros . It took me over 60 Ragnaros kills to finally obtain it, thats over 1 year solid weekly farming.

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker

Here is the next weapon of desire, also from Molten Core. The items needed drop off of 2 different bosses, Baron Geddon & Garr. Once you obtain either the Left Binding of the Windseeker or the Right Binding of the Windseeker you can start the quest in North West Silithius and talk to Highlord Demitrian. You are then required to obtain 10 Enchatned Elementium Bars . In addition to both bindings and the 10 bars you will also need Essence of the Firelord , which is 100% drop if you have the quest in your log and kill Ragnaros. You complete the quest and Prince Thunderaan will spawn. Kill him, complete the second quests and congratulations you just earned yourself Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

Update: While doing MC again for a BS recipe I managed to get both the Eye and the right binding in one run.

Shadowmourne

The last but not least in the list, of obtainable legendary weapons by paladins is shadowmourne . The quest starts off in Icecrown, you are asked to obtain what was 1,000 souls of the dead in the raid, and is now 50. When you hit with Shadow's Edge you place a debuff on the target and claim their soul once they die. After this you must do Unholy Infusion, to kill Professor Putricide while Shadow's Edge is infused with unholy fusion from his Abomination. Then comes Blood Infusion, killing the Blood Queen with blood infusion active, after becoming a vampire (easily done if only you + tank attack for the first few minutes so you get biten). And the last infusion is Frost Infusion, from Sindragosa the second last boss. After completing all the infusion quests you are asked to obtain 50 Shadowfrost Shards, which drop from the bosses on 25m Heroic (these can NOT be traded if given to the wrong person and only drop when someone in the raid group has the quest in their log). After all that grinding of Icecrown (You will probably go insane if it was pugged like all mine where) You then get to kill Lich King and obtain the chest containing 4 items that then give the following BoE rewards:

Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger

A brand new mount that looks like the Death Knight's class mount in red.

Muradin's Favor

A 10-minute Frost Dwarf transformation, currently bugged into a naked dwarf...

Jaina's Locket

A portal to Dalaran on a 1-hour cooldown, you finally have your own pocket mage!

Tabard of the Lightbringer

A tabard with Knights of the Silver Hand logo thats shows how Heroic you are!

Sylvanas' Music Box

A music box that plays Lament of the Highborne music from Sylvannas Windrunner

Val'Anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings

This is the next weapon of desire for me. It is obtained through Ulduar 25m. On Hardmodes Fragments of Val'anyr are more likely to drop, about 20-30% I would say from personal experience. On average expect anywhere between 1-4 shards a run. You need a total of 30 to combine them into the Shattered Fragment of Val'Anyr, the next quest gets you to throw it into the mouth of Yogg-Saron, the final boss of Ulduar raid instance. You shall then have obtained Val'Anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings. Be prepared to farm for about 6 months solid for this!

Update: Didn't make it for my birthday, but I have obtained it 2 months later!

Remaining Legendary Weapons

Thori'dal the Stars' Fury

This is the legendary bow from Kil'Jaeden in Sunwell Plateau. One of the big advantages of this weapon is that it created its own arrows, something that may seem pretty normal in the current game as you no longer need to craft ammunition. Although Rogues, warriors and Hunters can use Thori'dal,The Stars' Fury during The Burning Crusade I'd say hunters should use it as rogues got Warglaives (coming up next) and warriors could use them too, and even combine it with a shield as I seen many do. Not a hard one to get in terms of requirements, just be Level 70+ Rogue, Warrior, Hunter and since the release of wotlk a Death Knight and farm Sunwell for it.
Update: Managed to duo this with Nightshadoww (monk) easily and now have it :) but no achievement.

Warglaives of Azzinoth

Warglaives can be got from Illidan in Black Temple, he is the last boss. There is a small chance that both can drop on the same run. I managed to see the Main Hand drop and it went to a warrior who had no idea what they were, the off-hand dropped on a guild run for someones shields transmorg and I won the greed roll on it... On another guild run a rogue came with us this time and won the main hand, I asked him to trade it but unfortunately you don't get the achievement unless you can equip it, blizzard also can't trade it to one of your alt's.
Update: I now have both of them, still no achievement

Fangs of the Father

These are obtained in Dragon Soul, but only for rogues! takes a while of quest chain and grinding to get them. I hear that there maybe a dagger in Dragon Soul Heroic that is better than this... Either way a nice set of daggers. I have only seen a few people with it so far.

Legendary Mount

Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal

This mount was available during the open of The Gate of Ahn Qiraj for a VERY limited time, about 12 hours after the gates where opened on each individual server! They are a very rare site and you were also rewarded the title "Scarab Lord". If you like the appearance you can get 4 similar mounts in Red, Blue, Green & Yellow although they are only usable in the Temple of Ahn Qiraj raid. You can get a blue Qiraj Battle Tank from the Archaeology profession but it is rare, I have not come across it yet.
