Paladin Tank Solo!
I will upload a video, hopefully soon, about the raids / instance that I can solo or duo. These are some I managed so far:
Easy
This raid is really easy, even at 80, 85 and 90. The only time you are likely to die is from Ragnaros' blast back! It took me well over 60 runs of farming to get both legendaries, thats over 1 year of weekly Ragnaros kills. Although I have seen people get the eye of sulfuras on their first run, or even both bindings in one run.
Update: I ran it again after switching to Blacksmithing and got the right binding AND the eye of sulfuras in one go but no bs plans.
First boss has been nerfed and is now easier, second is a bit of a dps race due to the debuff that will kill you, even through bubble. Make sure to kill trash for Sands of Time to dispell debuffs from Chrommie!
Twins can be done if you focus dps on Vek'nash and pull them into a wall/corner, it may take a while, kill the guardians outside the room too, sometimes they got aggroed when I started the encounter. for Viscudus you can buy a weapon that applies ice damage in storm peaks off of Burnnhildar vendor. You can also enchant a frost damage spell. This worked great for me!
Super Easy, was able to farm even at Level 80 for the blacksmithing recipe! Never came across an easier raid to be honest. First boss, just avoid the sand, it silences some of my main spells.
You get feared a lot so switch seals if needed, try take out the mage (polymorph) / priest (healing) first. After that you can nuke the boss easily and the gate will open incase you die or want to run out / in. For main boss easy Tank'n'Spank tactics, just move from "cave in" and use freeing spells for stuns.
Another easy one, take out the adds first and then its Easy Mode. Trash before the bosses room also gets pulled if you go directly to him, so try take them out first, I managed them fine though. Adds in the room you should interrupt their heals and use aoe, the giant elemental things I didn't bother with them, just took out casters then the boss :)
Chess event is a pain but can be done, try taking the king first and then moving the pawn in front of him out of the way, so that when Medivh cheats you can just move the king one spot over! Tactic in video was:
soldier in front of warhorse moved forward -> right one. Then water elemental to the soldiers starting position. Same with the other side then pawn in front of king moved forward one, then just stay with king.
Onyxia 10
Focus your long ranged spells on Onyxia as she flies, then take down her whelplings and the guardian when those spells are on cooldown.
Mount Hyjal
Just another easy, long, roleplay and time delay between add spawns slows it down a bit.
Medium
Eye of Eternity
Bit of a DPS race for enrage timer as well as dps / healing on the dragon phase and keeping stacks up. Pretty easy otherwise.
Naxxramas
K.T. I have not touched, a lot bosses were a bit slow. For the likes of Patchwerk, you should kill the adds first as they get pulled when boss is aggroed. All in all, a long raid to completely solo. 25m some bosses can be done but only as ret since you need dps to beat enrage timer.
Most bosses are OK just clear trash first. The last boss I did as prot, had to heal a few times because of so much disorientate, knock backs and slows. Used consecration the second stuns/disor was gone as I would get it almost instantly again. Light's Hammer kinda works as a second Consecrate, once adds were done it was fairly easy. A lot of RP wait time. Toke about ~13 minutes, no mount yet.
Vault of Archovon
Frost boss deals loads of damage, you can remove stacks with bubble. It can easily be duo-ed. The wind boss you should focus dps on the boss as the adds respawn, you can keep sacred shield off for extra vengeance = more dps but vengeance does have a cap now so remember to put it on when your hp starts to get low and switch to seal of insight!
SerpentShrine Cavern
One boss keeps killing me thanks to paladins having mana. So I duo-ed it with a druid.Apart from that it was pretty easy, last boss was a bore. *Update* Since the battle pets dropping in TBC raids a lot of them have become a lot easier, including this raid! Last boss I just let elementals buff her, she cant gain anymroe stacks after 99.
Second last boss is difficult to do as retribution because of my low iL & pvp ret gear = low dps and their AoE heals, easy as protection with the silences and damage reduction.
Difficult
Trail of the Crusader
High health and a good bit of DPS from the bosses and their adds. Last boss heals himself a lot which I never realised during wotlk.
Icecrown
Again, High health and DPS. Sometimes mechanics too, I have seen some 85's solo LK fight on 10m normal. The achievement mounts I obtained pretty easily now with a full 10m group at 85 and about 15 85s for 25m glory. Never seen invincible yet, even after farming the legendary and doing both glory's and during raids at 80. *Update* The bosses are quite easy to do as ret also.
Sunwell
The first boss cannot be soloed so I duoed it with a hunter for the first time, went well was real easy. First boss, one stays outside the other enters the portal. After that its just nuking the bosses, try get Felmyst dead before flying phase.
Ulduar
I find this challenging with the damage they deal and my low DPS even duo-ing some bosses in 25m. I have seen 2 level 80's duo Flame Leviathan on 10m Hardmode during wotlk!!
Obsidian Sanctum
You can take out the mini-bosses individually but the one on the right (from entrance PoV) requires 2 due to the portal.
Update: I did manage to take on all the trash +3 mini bosses + sarth on 10m but because the portal boss makes him immune I can't solo. If you go dps and clear trash you can manage.
Firelands
I have not tested this myself but I read that a retribution paladin has soloed alysrazor, will try it soon and have a video up. *Update* Heard that paladins can solo all of it except the last 2 bosses, but Baleroc is very difficult, but possible!.
I also have a few dungeons that I solo for mounts, remember that you can only enter 5 per hour! Challenge modes can be rest as many times as you like, there is no hourly cap.
High Priestess I managed to solo easy, Seal of Righteous for adds, Seal of Insight for heals. Save cooldowns for the adds at 50% HP.
Zul'Gurub Raptor
Bloodlord Mandokir I duo-ed with boomkin druid due to his Decapitate instant kill, he may or may not cast it when solo-ing. Kill Oghan to have as many spirits to ress you as possible, and avoid his ground slam. I did get this mount soloing the level 60 raid version back in wotlk, couldn't manage the tiger boss but I found a nice 'reset adds' trick but was later removed, never got the mount sadly.
Stonecore
Very simple dungeon, got the mount after 33 kills (not including random dungeons/leveling). Kill the first 3 sets of mobs, focusing on Millhouse Manastorm and interrupt the Earthshaper, at 85 I was able to take 2 groups at a time. You can avoid the first boss and most trash after that.
I managed to
almost solo Baron Rivendare when I was 60 with full epics, now he has been made down to like level 40-50, easily solo this, take out the bosses at each 'tower' then the gate to baron will open, kill all the abominations in there and the Slaughterhouse doors will open. Got the mount on my 13th solo run
Very simple to do on normal, can avoid a lot of trash. First boss avoid the tornado's when they shield. You should get the green speed up "debuff" on mount boss for a faster kill.
At 80 i had to duo this with a druid, but now you don't need a druid to summon the boss. At 85 you can skip basically ALL the trash except for the odd guards at the doorways, if you are a lower level you can bring invisibility potions but remember to not cast any spell while its active or it cancels the potion!
Again, I duo-ed this at 80 duo to the last bosses high damage at the time, can easily be soloed now at 80 with the good gear wotlk or even some MoP provies for level 82's. Boss will drop a pet on normal and HC, mount on HC only and orb on every boss on HC. Got the mount about 2 months on & off farming.
Old Stratholme
This is a timed instance that will reward the bronze drake. I got this when I first hit 80 back in wotlk and now its even easier in an 80 group and to solo. Nothing to it just run through the instance like normal but before the last boss run to the left and kill that spare add that is only there on HC and with time left on the timer.
I hope these are helpful, I will upload videos to each solo/duo video on YouTube when I record them. If you have any questions feel free to comment; here or on youtube.
